Today we spent time traveling from Nevada to Union City, California right next to San Francisco. It was amazing to see how the landscape changed from flat desert to hills to forests and valleys to mountains and palm trees all in a few short hours. Truly, our arrival in California was quite a new experience for the whole crew as we’ve never experienced so many new things in such a short period of time.
The Quianzon family was gracious enough to get pizza for us after a long trip and we got a chance to sit down and talk with them some more before our interview. We got talking so long, we ended up going over on time and were almost late to record Joseph’s reggae band practice. Thankfully, we got some great shots and were able to make it back to Joseph and Rowena’s house for the interview. An incredibly sharp couple, you would think they have spent years in front of the camera. By 1 am on the West coast, and after a 17 hour day for the crew, we decided to call it quits and finish the shoot tomorrow.
We can’t wait to show you tons of pictures of the family tomorrow!

The scenery is beautiful!
I saw you today on the 99! So I decided to check out your website! What you are doing is really cool! Keep up the awesomeness!
BTW we were going south about a 100 miles on the 99, I think we split once we got into Fresno.
Thanks for checking our project out! Amazing what kind of advertising you can do with a dirty car and 10,000 miles. You should check out our blog from today as we were on our way to the Sequoia National Forest on our way through Fresno. Hope you continue to follow the film! -Rich

wish I could have been a part of this..I can only tell you that my son has soo much going on with him.. Did you do one with a residential treatment center..or child in one?
Yes we did. The center would not let us in to film, but we worked that into the story. Thanks for checking in with us and hope you enjoy the movie when it comes out!
