A New Year and Ahead of Schedule

By January 3, 2011 One Comment

Happy New Year to all of our friends and followers across America and the world!

2010 was the first banner year of our film and we have much for which to be thankful.

Truly, we have much to be thankful for as we push forward into 2011 for ourselves and the autism movement. Many of our fans are asking for updates on where we are and how soon can they expect to see something from the film. Let me give everyone a quick low-down on what’s going on and where we’re going at the start of 2011.

  • Capturing and cataloguing footage, a boring necessity of post-production, can be extremely time consuming. Thankfully, due to our workflow adjustments, we finished this process in less than 5 months, putting us about 4 months ahead of schedule.
  • Cutting and editing the footage is moving along quickly, and we are very happy with the quality and feel of the story. The 1080p Full HD footage is breathtaking for many landscapes, and our crew found wonderful footage of families and individuals in their natural environment.
  • After much confusion from all sides of the autism movement, we still maintain that all sides of the autism movement will have their voice heard, including the biomedical community, pro-vaccine and green-vaccine groups, ND advocates, and large and small organizations alike.
  • Our media campaign grows weekly with the addition of a seasoned Executive Producer to help manage upcoming TV and radio interviews, as well as the 2012 Film Festival circuit beginning in January 2012 and distribution.
  • We expect to have our first trailer ready for Autism Awareness month in April of 2011. Stay tuned for that!

For your enjoyment, here is a shot of where our story begins – a humble place in America where part of the old America always lives with the new one: Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
